JavaScript has undergone dramatic development in the last two years. In versions ES6 and ES7 lot of new syntactic features were added, which changed the language almost beyond recognition. Contrary to some expectations, most of the new features are actually very useful and can make developer’s life easier. Additionally, you do not have to worry that the new sytax is not yet supported in browsers. With the already available compilers, you can start using the new syntax right now.

Tomáš HolasThomas was playing with computers since childhood. He put together the first Web in the mid-90s, but he started to make living with programming with the advent of Web 2.0, when he switched from PHP to Ruby on Rails. Since then, he's fascinated by cutting-edge frameworks, which he usually learns quicky just to abandon them one moment later in favor of even newer and better. Thomas works as a freelance developer and consultant. His favorite stack is Node.js and React, which he considers to be the platform of the future. At least the nearest future.
