What is the talk about?
Grzegorz: Is Ruby on Rails too slow for popular application? Is it impossible to use threads in MRI? Is Ruby good for just the early days of the project?
This talk is about how to break the limits - make Ruby on Rails application able to handle even 200.000 requests per minute, making millions of requests to external sites in the meantime. -

Grzegorz: I think the topic is pretty advanced so only developers (but not only RoR developers) will want to hear it

What will the audience get from it?
Grzegorz: The audience will hear some ideas, but also some tips and advices about how to work on the performance of application to keep it usable for the users when it gets popular.

What do you presently work at?
Grzegorz: As a member of Sponsorpay developers team, I work on platform that helps game developers to monetize their products.
These days my work is mostly related to develop platform for mobile devices. -
Which of your existing achievements do you value the most?
Grzegorz: Despite my recent graduation from university, I've already had a chance to work with various companies in a few different countries.
