What is the talk about?
Carlo: In a user-centered world we need to co-create experiences with stakeholders in order to deliver meaningful products, contents and interfaces.
The mixture of co-creation, user-experience techniques, responsive and iterative approaches leads to a more agile and generally leaner design process, and even a happier work environment.
The point is focusing on an organic methodology both synchronous and asynchronous in order to drive clients and stakeholders insights and deliver the best meaningful result from the identity of the project itself to the details in the user interface going through the whole user experience journey. -
Who is it for?
Carlo: I'm going to talk with people who have some idea of what is a web project workflow, how a nightmare can be dealing with clients and stakeholders; but also I'm going to speak to people who are user of the web and want to learn how precious could be their contribution in creating meaningful and pleasant experiences for everybody.
-
What will the audience get from it?
Carlo: Hopefully an holistic, organic point of view on how we can use, integrate and sync our online lives and tools with real life hacking and cocreation.
-
What do you presently work at?
Carlo: Designing for smooth and satisfying web user experiences for clients, stakeholders and tech/innovation events we organise in Italy
-
Which of your existing achievements do you value the most?
Carlo: Definitely my experience in the CoDesign Jam Roma group which showed me, together with User Centered Design approaches and teaching in IED European Institute of Design in Rome, a way to deal with people needs listening to them and not deciding what is good for them withouth knowing it.
-
What would you like to achieve?
Carlo: I would like to be a better listener, because listening is the building block for storytelling. And telling stories is the best possible way to engage with people even visually.
-
What do you look forward to at the WebExpo?
Carlo: I look forwarding to meeting a lot of interesting people, having great insights, point of views and inspirations about everything connected to the web, even loosingly.
