Yes, groups of 5 or more get 1,000 CZK per conference and bundle ticket with the promo code “GOTEAM26”. Needing some help to justify this to your boss? Here are 8 reasons why you and your team should definitely come to WebExpo.

Free interactive sessions: Thursday, 28 May

On Thursday, WebExpo also offers free short workshops in the Lucerna Cinema Small Hall. These sessions are highly interactive, giving you quick hands-on insights from industry professionals. No registration is needed, but space is limited – it’s first come, first served.

Is WebExpo kid-friendly?
Yes, WebExpo welcomes attendees of all ages! This year, there will be activities for kids (and adults if you want to join) taking place throughout the day in the WebExpo Kids room near the Lucerna Café.

For children of the age of five and older, Jakub Balada and Tomáš Kapler prepared engaging and fun hands-on workshops where our future innovators will learn about 3D printing, try the basics of Scratch programming, enjoy LEGO BOOST & LEGO SPIKE, and explore various AI tools! Check the program for more details.

If your children are two years or older, they can hang out in our Kids’ Corner full of toys with our professional au pairs from while you attend talks.

Is your baby younger than 2 years? Enjoy the comfort of the Parents’ Coffee Lounge where you can hang out with other parents and find necessary facilities such as a microwave or changing table.

WebExpo Tip: Every WebExpo ticket comes with a second free adult entrance to WebExpo kids’ and networking areas, so you can bring the whole family! Email us at info@webexpo.net if you are interested in getting your FREE parent ticket or have any related questions.

Is WebExpo taking place in-person or virtually this year?
WebExpo 2026 will be in-person only, so we can enjoy the experience together and meet people and speakers face-to-face. For us, there's nothing quite like the spontaneous connections you make IRL at Mentoring sessions, Discomfort Zone discussions, and (of course) the epic parties. That being said, we will still have videos of all WebExpo talks available after the conference, so you’ll be able to view and catch up on any sessions you didn’t manage to attend.

Where is WebExpo?
WebExpo is located in Prague, Czech Republic at Lucerna Palace (view map) in the city centre. We’re within walking range of many national monuments and attractions, and the Lucerna building itself is a national cultural monument, too. Get a feeling for the area in our Prague photo guide blog post.

I'm not from Prague, where should I stay?
It’s easy to find accommodation for every budget in Prague — from affordable hostels to luxury hotels. We recommend using Airbnb.com or Booking.com.

Where to go & what to do at WebExpo

How do I get the latest news about WebExpo?
We know a lot is going on at WebExpo. Here are our tips on how to stay tuned:

📲 Follow us on social media: Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Threads, Mastodon and Bluesky. Don’t forget to tag us and add the hashtag #webexpo to your posts!

📱 We will have a conference app for WebExpo where you can get all the latest dates, plan your program and join the networking game. The app will be available closer to the event, and we’ll email all attendees with access details when it’s ready.

❓ Have a question that’s not covered in our FAQ? Send us an email at info@webexpo.net or use WhatsApp chat.

📍 On-site support: Have any doubts or questions while at the conference? Feel free to pop into one of our Info Points (Info Point 1 in Lucerna Great Hall, Info Point 2 next to Lucerna Gallery).

How do I get to Lucerna Palace?
🚋 Lucerna Palace is located right next to the tram stop Václavské náměstí.

🚇 Take Metro A (green) or B (yellow) to Můstek or Metro C (red) to Muzeum.

🚖 For convenient and safe travels by car, order Liftago and use promo code WEBEXPO2026 from May 22 to May 31 and get a 100 CZK discount off two rides. Download the Liftago app for iOS or Android. Discount applies only when paying with card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.

🚗 We wouldn't really recommend entering the city centre by your own car due to the lack of parking spots and traffic. But if you are driving, please look for paid parking and be aware of parking zones.

WebExpo tip: For both public transportation tickets and parking zones information, you can download the app Lítačka (Google Play, App Store)

After picking up your badge, grab a delicious breakfast in Lucerna Passage, available until 9:00 AM. Gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan options are at Info Point 2 near Lucerna Café—please take these only if needed, as quantities are limited.

We also recommend you get your reusable water/coffee cup at the same time, so you can enjoy your breakfast with a beverage! You can also bring your own favourite cup and water bottle. What time does WebExpo start?
We’ll be kicking off WebExpo at 8:40 AM with a warm welcome from WebExpo Director Šárka Štrossová and an opening keynote from creative technologist Switch Angel, and of course, a surprise you won’t want to miss. And when we say 8:40 AM, we mean it. Not a minute later.

Please come early and have your ticket with the QR code ready, so we can get everyone checked in and ready before the conference opens at 8:40 AM in the Lucerna Great Hall. What talks should I attend?
All of our talks are great, but here are some recommendations based on your area of expertise:

For tech and digital experts: Find your AI thread

For developers: Upgrade your stack

For designers: From pixels to futures

For business leaders & marketers: Benchmark your strategy

For UX researchers: Observed, not assumed

For accessibility practitioners: Focused on real people, not just standards

WebExpo tip: Try also talks outside your bubble, they might shift how you think, collaborate, or even open a whole new path.

What is the Speakers’ Corner and where to find it?
Instead of a standard on-stage Q&A, we’ve created a dedicated space called Speakers’ Corner. It’s where you can ask follow-up questions or dive deeper into the discussion with the speaker after each talk block. You’ll find it either in the same hall or nearby.

What about coffee and food?
You can always count on WebExpo to keep you well-fed and hydrated!

You’ll get a tasty breakfast in Lucerna Passage. Don’t worry, we also have gluten-free, dairy-free or vegan options that will be provided at Info Point 2. Please be mindful that there is only a limited amount of gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan packages available, so we kindly ask you to choose this option only if you really need it.

Water and hot drinks from Doubleshot and Alma Career Tea Room will be available all day. To be as ecological as possible, we offer reusable water and coffee cups. Each cup comes with a 50 CZK / 2 EUR deposit per cup, payable by cash or card. This will be fully refunded when you return it. You can also bring your own favourite cup and water bottle.

For lunch, don’t forget to stop by the Le Pizze di Frankie (cash or QR payment), Yuzu Sushi (card or cash) and Lokše od Zuzky (card or cash) food stands and Dhaba Beas restaurant (card or cash) located in the Lucerna Passage.

WebExpo Tip: Want to go to eat out near Lucerna? Check out the WebExpo Google map for recommendations.
