mobile, ext, iphone, android, html5

Everyone knows about the qualities of Ext JS framework. Now, the developers come with Sencha Touch that offers the same qualities for the mobile web. Especially for those developers that face the limits of procedural style of jQuery and are willing to move ahead, the Sencha Touch offers complete OOP solution with classes, inheritance, design patterns and HTML templates. And all of this in JavaScript on smartphones (the better ones).

The presentation will show the core differences between programming with Sencha and for jQuery, explain the implemented class inheritance, show a basic tutorial on how to create an iPhone app that looks as good as a native one. And as a bonus we have some mobile features based on HTML5!

Michal Till (CZ)

Developer, consultant at Michal Till

Michal Till has programmed in the enterprise environment, but decided that he can do better. He thinks that life is too short for servlets or Web Forms and that robustness might be good sometimes, but flexibility rocks all the time. For many years he has contributed to Connect!, leading Czech magazine covering enterprise IT, where he has focused on web technologies and software development. He considers JavaScript the biggest heist in the history of IT: more than ten years of development of robust servers, multi-layer frameworks and great object-oriented APIs it looks like all the fame will go to such a language.
