Vlasta Pokladnikova is a Silicon Valley based venture consultant and a business develoment professional. She started her work in the technology business after receiving her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Stanford University where she focused on technology commercialization and venture capital research at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Vlasta has a hands-on experience in growing early-stage venture-backed Silicon Valley companies. She served as an in-house business and product development executive and venture advisor at a number of startup companies in storage resource management, enterprise search, and new media markets. Recently, she has been advising top tier venture capital firms including Sequoia Capital and Draper Fisher Jurvetson on investment opportunities in the European emerging markets. Her areas of interest are early stage companies with disruptive products addressing large markets in software/web, new media and ehealth.
