What is it about?
Richard: It's about context. Traditional "user centered development" describes scenarios by "use cases", agile methodologies favor "user stories". The goal of this speech is to explain, that it is not enough and that you need more information for meaningful development.
-
What will the visitors get from it?
Richard: Less stress and better applications. Adding a context to the analysis gives developers better understanding necessary for their decisions.
-
For whom it is?
Richard: For analysts to broaden their perspective; for agile team members to make better user stories; and for programmers to know, what information they shall ask for.
-
What do I presently work at?
Richard: Presently I work at the workflow system Orinoco, bank system and ITIL application, teach jQuery a sometimes helping wit smaller projects. I do some experiments with NodeJS, too.
-
Which of my existing achievements do I value the most?
Richard: Introducing usability tests to the development process in companies, where I do consulting. Introducing high quality standards to my company AspectWorks.
-
What would I like to achieve?
Richard: More designers involved in software development. I would like to educate programmers, analysts and managers in design, because everyone shall have at least some design knowledge.
-
What do I look forward to at the WebExpo?
Richard: I don't know yet, but last year I wasn't disappointed.
