What is the talk about?
Dominika: Have you ever wondered what kind of values matter in designing for health care and well-being? Let’s dive deeper into the design process and thinking when designing in these empathy driven themes.
-
Who is it for?
Dominika: Anybody who works on projects related to health care and well-being or genuinely interested in these themes.
-
What will the audience get from it?
Dominika: Inspiration and peek onto human-centered design processes used when designing in health care and well-being.
-
What do you presently work at?
Dominika: I am currently working on a conceptual design and development of a shape changing mattress for incubators. The mattress is designed in a way to enhance the comfort for a prematurely born baby as well as support the development of his/her bones and correct posture.
-
Which of your existing achievements do you value the most?
Dominika: I very much value my decision to become a designer for health care where I have the opportunity to work both on creative projects as well as develop products, systems and services with a high meaning to a society.
-
What would you like to achieve?
Dominika: In the near future, I would love to coach and lead a team of creative and motivated people that would get enthusiastic about working on challenging design concepts as well as solutions. With such team and approach, we could create a positive contribution to the growth of the society via our expressions and designs.
-
What do you look forward to at the WebExpo?
Dominika: I am very much looking forward to meeting lots of inspiring people that can enlighten me of their expertise, knowledge and interests.
