“It needs to be properly analyzed first.” Anyone who has programmed commercially for at least 2 years and never once uttered this sentence, should cross their heart and hope to die. Already? So much for that. For those of you who remain: While waiting on analysts is more comfortable, whether you spend the time and effort you want on analysis during development is a very different animal. Spoiler alert: It’s always more convenient because no matter what happens – the developers always get blamed. The time has come for a change. And like everything else, it comes down to people and responsibilities.
