Avast needed a long runway, but now it is flying high and successfully above anybody else. Eda Kučera, one of two co-founders, will answer questions from Petr Koubsky about the beginnings of Avast and the future of the astonishing company in the field of digital security.

Eduard KučeraEduard Kučera met Pavel Baudiš while studying at the Research Institute of Mathematical Machines. The pair later went on to found AVAST Software together. In 2014, Avast had over 200 million active users, making it the most widely used software on the planet! Kučera was the former Chief Chaos Officer of Avast (a title he gave himself) and is now an active board member, as well as an investor in several funds. In 2009, Ernst & Young named him Entrepreneur of the Year.
