A prototype isn’t usually a realistic model of the finished complete product. But knowing what to focus on can be difficult – especially for beginning prototype designers. Also, the test report often seems to be a product of how tests end up rather than a driver of what is tested.
I am experimenting with a method I hope will help keep focus on what the prototype is to achieve, what questions it is supposed to answer by taking business requirements and looking directly at the report we deliver and then work backwards through tests and finally get to the prototype.
This is still very much in the thinking through and experimental phase and I will welcome feedback.
