Jan was a pioneer of the internet in the Czech Republic – he led the team at the Czech Technical University in Prague, which connected the country to the internet in 1992. During his career, he has held several important positions, including the director of CESNET.
Jiří Peterka
Council Member @ Czech Telecommunication Office
Jiří is a member of the council of the Czech Telecommunication Office. He runs a website dedicated to the history of the internet called “The Museum of Internet”. He is also an active lecturer at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University in Prague.
