  • What is it about?

Martin: I've been redesigning my web blog (vzhurudolu.cz) and found out that my work progress actually copies the progress of the web design itself. I'll try this example to show you how.

And it's not only the presence of mobile devices or the necessity to deal with the large screen resolutions also with the Retina displays. Not even the contemporary technologies as CSS3 and LESS or the techniques like progressive enhancement or mobile first. But don't worry, I'll show them too, but...

In many cases in the workflow of the designer and the front-end developer we leap a bit to the beginning, to the adaptive and error-resistant web site architecture. The long journey we have passed not only in the new technologies and procedures, but in complicating our and our web visitors' lives, too. Don't you believe? Come and find out.

  • What will the visitors get from it?

Martin: The lookout at the coder (and in a simplified way the designer too) work, maybe a little different than you are user to.

I will, subliminally, serve you the overview of the contemporary front-end trends and techniques, just for you to not be far behind.

  • For whom it is?

Martin: For everyone who is going to work on the web page in the close future. New thoughts and the new front-end possibilities may help the whole team to simplify the work. Designers, project managers - it'll be for you!

  • What do I presently work at?

Martin: Front-end development for the new design of Scuk.cz and the websites of cinemas Světozor, Aero and OKO. I blog and lecture.

  • Which of my existing achievements do I value the most?

    Martin: My 35th birthday.

  • What would I like to achieve?

    Martin: My 36th birthday.

  • What do I look forward to at the WebExpo?

    Martin: To coleagues.
