He's the creator of several popular Node.JS open source libraries like socket.io, mongoose and slackin. Prior to Node.JS, he was a core developer of the MooTools frontend toolkit.
Jakub worked in software development and developer management roles across 3 continents over the last 20 years. He was the first employee at GoodData, co-founded Apiary & sold it to Oracle.
