Alice, who the f*ck is Alice? The challenges of digital identity in a post-covid, Tinder Swindler world

When you're communicating with people on the internet today, are you sure it's them? It's challenging to keep track of who people really are in a world where we have a professional, private, family, social media, and online dating identity.

This talk will challenge your thinking about what identity is today and in the future, and why it's more than ever for people to understand what their identity is worth and how to keep it safe. Get ready to explore the role designers, developers, and users have to play in this messy, complex, and fascinating world full of crooks and scammers.

Philip Bonhard

Philip is the Head of Customer Experience Design for Digital Fraud, Identity and Authentication at Lloyds Banking Group (LBG). Before joining Lloyds, he worked in academia, big consulting firms, and ran his own design agency. He holds a PhD in Human Computer Interaction from University College London. Most importantly, he's passionate about designing products and services that make people's lives better. He strongly believes that building stuff is more important than describing it.
