Many people thought that 2022 would be a breakthrough year for the metaverse based on the hype caused by Facebook’s rebranding to “Meta” in the fall of 2021. So, what is the state of the metaverse today? Are we there yet?

A former product & project manager with over a decade of experience in connecting marketing with new technologies, Julie is currently a business consultant for all things metaverse, NFT and Web3. She co-founded one of the first VR arcades in the Czech Republic and produced a variety of AR & VR experiences at the award-winning studio Brainz Immersive. She is the founder of the Czech community Holky v Metaverse (Women in the Metaverse), where she strives to connect, empower and educate women interested in immersive tech.
