Talk details:

While effective decision-making can seem daunting, it’s also within everyone’s reach. This talk will explore how to analyse the parameters of the day-to-day decisions that need to be made in a product development environment, as well as the types of questions, methods, and insights that can help provide the information we need to better inform those decisions. The goal is for anyone watching to walk away with a clear process for approaching decision-making with confidence and ease.

Schedule:

The WebExpo program will be confirmed before the conference, including details for this talk.

Dalia El-Shimy
Head of UX Research

Dalia is an engineer-turned-academic-turned-user-researcher. She currently leads UX Research at Miro, a discipline she helped build there from the ground up. Before that, she was one of the first researchers at Shopify, where she helped scale the practice from a few researchers to a team of 60+ strong, and co-led the craft across the entire organisation. When she’s not busy asking too many questions, Dalia spends way too much time trying to figure out how to adapt her North American baking recipes to German ingredients and/or obsessing over all things David Bowie.
