Spread the Experimentation Virus: How to Run 1000 A/B Tests in a Year
Controlled experiments (a.k.a A/B testing) are the gold standard for learning cause-and-effect in scientific research, clinical studies, and in the past decade, also in marketing and product development.
One of the key ingredients of success for Netflix, Amazon, Airbnb, or Booking.com is their ability to scale experimentation across the organisation.
At Avast, we embarked on a journey to spread the same “experimentation virus” within the company. This talk is about this journey, what we learned, what mistakes we made, and what helped us to be able to run 1000 A/B tests in a year.
