The life expectancy of companies is decreasing. The average life expectancy of a company used to be over 60 years. Today, the life expectancy of a company has dropped to ten years, faced with unstoppable digital transformation and the constant shift in people’s interests and trends. In this talk, Noelle will dive deeper into the reasons behind this phenomenon and the crucial place design holds in this race for business survival, illustrated by Revolut’s practices.

Noelle Ghanem

Noelle is a product designer with 8+ years experience currently working at Revolut. She's an Entrepreneur at heart and very much enjoyed co-founding her two startups. She has experience working in cross-functional teams, in highly-regulated industries and had the opportunity to CE mark three products as Class I Medical Device. As the acting product owner for the product Smart Assist (a clinical decision support tool) at Medicus AI, she got to patent that technology. At Ada Health she had the chance to support their VP of Product Design in growing the design team from 1 to 10 designers and led the team across all 5 programs. Aside from her day job, she's an Academic e-Mentor at the University of Leeds.
