  • What is it about?

Eric: This conference is going to talk a lot about responsiveness - in design, in content, in reacting to business needs in a pressed economy. “Reacting” is the key word here. We need to be less REactive and more PROactive - we must anticipate the needs of our clients - and their clients. We need to give our work personality if we want to differentiate it. And we need to help our clients understand this exciting new world in which we are pioneers.

  • What will the visitors get from it?

Eric: A quarter of a century of observations in this arena, plus practical tips on how to move your mind (and your business) to the next level.

  • What do I presently work at?

Eric: I am Chairman and CEO of The FatDUX Group, one of Europe’s leading user-experience companies, with offices and associates in 17 countries.

  • Which of my existing achievements do I value the most?

Eric: I’ve written four books, the most recent being Usable Usability, which just came out this past summer. These are my “children” and I am very proud of how they have helped change the world, in small and large ways alike.

  • What would I like to achieve?

Eric: I want to leave this world a better place than that into which I was born.

  • What do I look forward to at the WebExpo?

Eric: Meeting smart people who understand that what we create plays a critical role in how the future will look for everyone - online AND offline.
