Daniel Cuthbert is a senior security researcher, technologist, and long-standing contributor to the global cybersecurity community. He serves as Global Head of Cyber Security Research for the Santander Group, focusing on detection engineering, cryptographic safety, and applied security research across complex financial systems. A founding member of OWASP, he co-authored both the OWASP Testing Guide and the ASVS, earning the OWASP Distinguished Lifetime Award for his decades of work pushing the industry toward more secure software.
