♿ Accessibility Tips

😌 Help us make your talk accessible:

Talking to a diverse group means you should be mindful of how you talk to the room.

Our attendees (mostly not native English speakers) will be there all day, taking in a lot of information, so making things accessible is a win-win for everyone.

Hot tip: Plan to take a drink of water a number of times to help your pacing.

  • Speak slightly slower for non-native speakers and people with access needs
  • Design slides with:
    • Clear contrast
    • Easy-to-read text
    • Accessible spacing/layout
  • Check out our Accessibility Guidelines for more details.
